Get a Taste Of the Sweetest Place On Earth: Hershey, PA

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a fun trip to Chocolate Town, U.S.A! As you stroll the streets of Hershey, PA, you’ll see evidence of the Hershey Chocolate Company everywhere. With streetlights shaped like Hershey's Kisses and a slight smell of chocolate in the air, it’s easy to see how this is known as the sweetest place on earth.
HISTORY

At the turn of the 20th century, Milton Hershey founded the Hershey Chocolate Company. With the belief that happy workers equaled business success, he created a town that catered to his workers' needs. He built streets that were lined with trees and put up houses that were homes, not just dwellings. He then added on attractions like an amusement park, a sports arena, theater, and a hotel. Hershey, PA, quickly became a popular place to live and visit! While most places were suffering from the great depression, Hershey was thriving. To this day it is a huge tourist attraction, bringing in about 10 million visitors per year!
