At the turn of the 20th century, Milton Hershey founded the Hershey Chocolate Company. With the belief that happy workers equaled business success, he created a town that catered to his workers’ needs. Hershey, PA, quickly became a popular place to live and visit! While most places were suffering from the great depression, Hershey was thriving. To this day it is a huge tourist attraction, bringing in about 10 million visitors per year!
