Keep your eyes peeled for elk, bears, wolf, and more as you ride. Make sure you know about bear safety in these areas to protect yourself. Grizzly bears are around so get yourself some bear spray and keep your eyes open for signs that there may be bears in the area. In the unlikely event that one charges you and doesn’t stop when you spray it, lay in the fetal position and cover the back of your neck with your hands. They really only attack if they think you’re a threat so once they no longer see you as one, they tend to leave. You cannot outrun a bear, even on your bike.
Take pictures of your ride and share them below! We’d love to see what you get up to!
